Jain Way of Life

We Are Followers of Mahavir: Embracing His Teachings

Once, God Mahavir encountered a fierce snake named Chandkaushik, feared by many. Instead of harming it, Mahavir remained calm and radiated compassion. Seeing his kindness, the snake shed its aggression and became peaceful. This story symbolizes how love and non-violence can transform even the most hostile beings, a core teaching of Jainism.
